Hotel Suites Villasol Puerto Escondido , Puerto Escondido (Oaxaca)

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and living room was small, run-down, and not very clean. The paper-thin walls made it noisy, especially with ongoing construction near the pool. After some confusion at the service desk, we were finally given another room, which was basic with dirty spots on the walls and bed linen.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though basic, were kept clean and had good AC. On the downside, my first-floor room faced a stairway with a housekeeping cart, and there was no balcony. The service was generally attentive and friendly, except for one member of staff, causing some communication issues. The location, while a little outside the town, was amazing, situated in a super safe and quiet area with easy access to the beach club. The dining options were okay, with a choice between fresh juice or fruit, eggs, and other items, although it was not consistent. Despite a few drawbacks, the facilities were well-maintained and satisfactory.

The location was fairly near the Rinconada area of Puerto Escondido, about a 10-12 minute walk, and the neighborhood was quiet with access to a superb beach club. The dining experience was okay but a bit chaotic and not as varied as expected. Despite these drawbacks, the staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, treating me like a family member.
